My wife and I were looking for a young and up and coming realtor to be aggressive to help find us our first home with as little stress as possible. We had looked at a house in Millbrook that was listed by a Century 21 representative. The listing agent did not have time to take us through a viewing, so she had linked us up with Shaun. Shaun met with us at the property and immediately after having a small conversation in the driveway with him, we were blown away. His personality was nothing like what we had been working with previously, he was super friendly, and we LOVED that he didn't have a huge sales tactic on. We found with previous agents we had worked with we were always pressured to buy the first thing we seen, and we really didn't like that. Shaun was great, he took us through the house and pointed out some great features we didn't think about (opening up the basement,ect) and had a lot of knowledge on the structural part of the house we weren't sure about. We didn't have much luck on that house when it came to offer time, but we gained an awesome agent to work with. Shaun had taken us to see a few more houses in between that house and the one we bought, and we always had a great time looking at places that some were great and some weren't what we were looking for. Shaun was always right on top of everything such as finding out information on the house, scheduling appointments to see it, and overall any questions we had really. With the market being at its highest right now, and us being first time home buyers, we were ready to give up at one point; but Shaun really helped us along to find the house for us! We bought a house last week with Shaun, and we are over the moon excited to start this new chapter in our lives. We cant thank Shaun enough for all of his hard work, determination and honestly easy to work with personality. We couldn't have done it without him!!! Shaun is an incredible realtor who made our dreams of owning our first home come true. As first time buyers, there were many things we didn’t consider or know to consider regarding; the buying process, lawyers, taxes, realistic bid prices, potential problems with home (i.e spotting foundation issues, pointing out must-repairs etc) among many other things. Shaun would always take the time to patiently explain all these nuances so that we can be the most informed about the purchase we were trying to make. He would never rush us into a deal or pressure us into making unwise decisions. It always felt like he was aligned with our best interests, like a family member making a purchase with us. It made the whole process a lot less stressful and ultimately led to a successful purchase. Furthermore Shaun was always willing to make the long drive into our market, even if it was just for 1 or 2 properties. That was incredibly kind of him as it is a huge commitment to spend that sort of time without at least multiple houses lined up to see. We greatly appreciated that from Shaun. Shaun also has a keen sense of market pricing. His estimates on what a home will go for were always correct. This made us confident on his recommendations of what bids would be competitive without offering more than necessary. We couldn’t say enough about how much work Shaun has put in to make this dream a reality for us. I certainly will be recommending him to any friends and family who are looking for a realtor. It’s rare to find the kind of honesty, knowledge, patience, and grit in any person these days, let alone from realtors, but Shaun has these qualities in spades.
